Credentials to Date In the late 1990’s as three newly qualified young German Architects, who subsequently became m2r’s founding Directors, we shared a dream in which we invested our combined skills, energy and love of innovative design, to establish a Practice that would in future flourish and grow to become a recognized multifunctional Architecture/Consultancy entity. Whilst nurturing our dream in its infancy, we opened the Practice in 2002, and one of our first projects was to return an abandoned former premier international center of sporting excellence to its rightful place amongst its current peers. The dream started to become a reality in 2005, when our award winning World Cup Ski Jump and Sports Arena was completed, in Klingenthal, on what previously had been virgin wooded hillside. The successful conclusion of our first major project, that established a landmark imprint for groundbreaking design and flair, was followed by the second milestone in m2r’s history, namely the establishment of our office in Kiev. This provided the impetus that enabled us to work with mayor international clients and on large scale international projects, including hotel projects like the Hilton Garden Inn in Kiev, The Hampton by Hilton in Donetsk or Nizhniy Novorod. The recent completion of the 5 star Hotel on Karpathos Island in Greece, together with the sport hotel in Klingenthal has established us as internationally recognized hotel designers, with the expertise to provide all the interiors in-house as well as the external work. We are now at a point where in addition to offering the diverse range of innovative projects, illustrated previously on the web-site, we have wide international expertise in designing sport and leisure architecture and hotels, which we shall be looking to combine and encompass further in the future. The initial dream has now in every sense become a reality. The Future Still fired by the same enthusiasm and desire for innovative design and excellence, the Practice continues to be actively engaged in various projects throughout Europe and is fully committed to providing the highest levels of: Expertise: Having initially trained as construction workers before electing to study architecture, all 3 founding Directors of m2r architecture have accumulated in excess of 20 years extensive knowledge of the construction industry. This understanding of the practical aspects of construction, coupled with strong design skills provides enormous insight and additional value for clients when designing and developing new projects with us. Service: We are totally focused on our clients and their project goals. We have a process driven attitude, believe in integrity and clear communication, but strive to operate in a relaxed and congenial atmosphere.
