Thames Northwalk a disabled friendly walk-way for the 2012 Olympic Games
The award to host the Olympic games in 2012, presents London with a golden opportunity to incorporate in its preparations for the spectacle, brave and innovative improvements to the present infrastructure.
m2r proposes a scheme to open up the north bank of the Thames with a unfettered access along the water. The disabled friendly Northwalk project would create new thoroughfares, public spaces, cafes and ferry terminals along the river from Westminster to City Airport.
The project is currently with the mayor of London for discussion and consultation.
